Garfield Road is a main road in Marrickville West. Located on it is a Metro Monorail station, the Marrickville West Animal Shelter, the Community Chests Center, the parking and entrance to BattleStorm's Compact Diner, and the Marrickville Aquarium. Garfield Road also provides direct access from Sandy Drive to the northern areas of Marrickville West, as well as access to New Marrickville via Diner Street.
