A federal referendum was held on Saturday 21 September 1974 in Enderron to decide if the country should adopt a national maximum speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour (56 mph). The proposal was inspired by the United States' National Maximum Speed Law, which was introduced earlier in 1974 as a result of the 1973 oil crisis.

The proposal was rejected by a margin of 56.7 percent to 43.3 percent.
